What is Made Visual?
Made Visual is a periodic newsletter featuring infographics at the intersection of culture and economics. Each graphic presents a new aspect of the cultural conversation that cuts through the noise in a way that's fresh.
Who is the creator of Made Visual?
My name is Harrison Schell. I don’t come from academia, the data sciences or institutional roots. I’m a graphic designer from the Canadian Pacific Northwest with an untraditional route to visualizing information and making sense of the world in the ways that I know how.
Through this blog, unless clearly stated, I am not actively trying to sell any particular viewpoint as my aim is to source and layout data and information in a way that is clear, intuitive and impactful. My work is generally vetted and free of errors, but if discrepancies are spotted my graphics will be amended with future versions.
