Graphic Styles of the 20th Century

Today, we look at a visual summary of the graphic styles of the last century of the second millennium. Technology, fine art, politics and world events continually shaped and broke emerging styles of communication in a way that can be visually tracked in this newly designed poster.

With the help of AI's capability to summarize entire eras of "vibes" I've been able to assemble a large collection of icons to show a general timeline of how we've approached design, a concept I've seen done a couple times, but never to the level of comprehension I would have liked.
